Feed Program – How it Works

The Hitching Post provides a unique service to the surrounding area farms. We take a sample of the forages and grains from farms, and send it to the Shurgain lab to get tested for levels of calcium, protein and other essential minerals. Upon receiving this data, the professionals at the Hitching Post use a computer program to properly balance the ration for maximum production at an economical price.
